Captain Permit is the expert whenever it comes to the challenging process of obtaining permits. The idea came from founder Charles Weinraub who is also known in the real estate investment world as “The Handsome Homebuyer!” Charles is considered the #1 fix and flip investor on Long Island. After spending a lot of time dealing with architects and expeditors, many of whom didn’t show up or took money and were never heard from again, he became frustrated with the poor communication and slow turnaround times while attempting to obtain permits and plans, that he created Captain Permit. In 2022 the Chief Operating Officer Michael Arato and Lead Field Inspector and Drafter Ryan Griffin took ownership of the company. They understand the struggles and frustrations that come along with the permit process and we work to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible. Captain Permit is a one-stop shop permit specialist company. We handle everything in-house, so there is no chasing anyone around. We have an on-staff architect, and drafters and the owners Michael Arato and Ryan Griffin are always available to answer any questions or concerns you have! We have been in business since 2018 and our staff has been doing this for decades.
